- Do you lend your books to other people? If so, any restrictions? Not often. Everyone I know has so many books that they don't need mine! It's a good thing, because I'm almost as neurotic about my books as I am about my fountain pens. I once lent a copy of The Bhagavad Gita to my cousin. When she gave it back, I saw that she'd inked a large OM symbol on the fanned-out pages. This happened at least 35 years ago, and I still remember the punch of dismay I felt.
- Do you borrow books from other people? (Friends or family—I'm not talking about the public library) Not often. See above. However, that does not stop me from BUYING books from other people. Heaven help me, I've discovered BookMooch.
- And, most importantly—do the books you lend/borrow get returned to their rightful owners?? Yes. Absolutely. melanie

Bookmooch -- what a great idea!
I am very picky about who does and does not get to borrow my books. And nothing irritates me more than someone who borrows a paperback, and gives it back to you all mangled - because it's "just a paperback"!
I don't borrow books from other people much, either. Sometimes it's because they haven't taken very good care of their copies, and well, they are, um, nasty ...
Hey love the BookMooch! I wish it was the case with my friends, having too many books that they don't need to borrow mine ;) But sometime when I want friends to read books that I think they'll like, I tend to let them borrow mine books. Oh well...
Happy BTT and I hope you have a wonderful day! Here is Mine!
Oh, dear, you are evil - I didn't know about BookMooch until now. I'm in (more) trouble! My Booking through Thursday answers are up here.
